We foster greater understanding and appreciation of African American contributions to our community while supporting diversity and promoting cultural inclusivity. By doing this, we aim to empower everyone to engage fully with their history and culture.
We are dedicated to sharing the true history of the Rappahannock community and the African American experience through education and research. We believe this history of adversity and achievement enlightens, inspires, and strengthens our community ties.
